Product Description

Vintage Bolt gravity clock in good vintage condition. This is a 1960s/1970s reproduction of a clock made in the 1500s. We love this clock because of the exposed wooden cogs and the weights that drive the mechanism. There are two block weights that slide along the top arm and fit into grooves to give one the ability to speed up or slow down the mechanism. Overall the clock is in good condition but does show some wears; nothing that detracts from the overall appeal or working mechanisms. The clock keeps time well. This clock has one hand; it is not missing a hand. As you can see there is wear to the rope that holds the weights; its unraveling but it still keeps time appropriately. There is an old glued repair but it does not hinder the cog mechanism from working correctly. Please mouse over or click on any photograph to see the condition details up close.
